Moto X Style/Moto X Pure Edition vs. 2015 LG Nexus vs. 2015 Huawei Nexus

It is a strange how different our points of view can be. I've loved every Nexus but the 10 since my first in 2011.

I may be nitpicking but I still have a sour taste in my mouth from the N4 and the attenuation problems that plagued me with it, and the multi-touch hardware defect that's still persistent to this day with my N7 after 3 exchanges. Admittedly I had little time with the 5 and 6 with only a couple of weeks with each but didn't feel better about them than other options available at the time.

I was unhappy with pretty much every Nexus phone ever released. There always seemed to be a pervasive sense of "not our flagship, don't really care sorry" in terms of quality control in the ones I've had. Coupled with hardware headaches, I've been dissatisfied with Google's software engineers ever since JB which I consider the last stable and efficient version of Android. The comparison I use to arrive at that opinion is the iPhones my family uses but I'm in charge of setting up and maintaining. Yes I agree iOS is more limited, but I've had several orders of magnitude less hassles with them than my own Android devices. There comes a point where I wonder if the added capabilities I get with Android OS are really worth the extra hassles I've encountered with them over the years on top of an already very busy life with my full time career and our large property that I maintain and work on and I feel I'm quickly reaching that point where I just want to open the box and get good battery life, a decent camera, a near flawless software experience, stability and reliability, superior support, no carrier interference with minimal intervention required on my part. Like most all of the other electronics, vehicles, household appliances I own.
I'm currently using an iPhone 6, and it hasn't been a significantly smoother experience than my Android phones. Battery life is pretty bad and the camera is decent at best. What drew me to the iPhone was it's premium feel, and Android phones are catching up and surpassing the iPhone now. And I've been through plenty of bugs. They're just different versions of the same problems Android has.

I didn't take the regular 6 into account when I posted that, I was referring to the 6+

Let's assume all 3 have the same exact battery life and the same camera, which would you choose and why?

I've never had a fingerprint sensor or wireless charger, so I'd go Nexus. is hey the Hauwei version for display size and 64 GB.

Re: If Pure and both Nexus phones have same battery/camera, what would you get?

If the Huawei can match the Pure's camera, it will be a no brainer for me to go Nexus.

I think the LG Nexus will be my first Nexus phone if it has decent battery life. If not, I'll just keep my original moto X as it still performing beautifully and I just replaced the battery and now it's just as good as new again. The only thing that would stop me from keeping my current moto X is if marshmallow just blows me away.

Re: If Pure and both Nexus phones have same battery/camera, what would you get?

for what reason(s)?

Obviously I'm going off rumors but:
Wireless charging
Fingerprint Sensor (seems trivial, but I had one on my laptop, and I want one for everything now)
Potential Samsung AMOLED display (big selling point for me if true)

I'd be crushed if it was a solid device and it wasn't on Verizon. Everyone besides Verizon has sketchy service where I live, but I'd be tempted to jump ship just to have the Nexus.

God it would be tough because Moto has best ergonomics and really would like to have a bambo and champagne Pure. Then the Nexus 5 seems to fix all ergonomic design issues I have with Nexus 5(2013) and will have true stock Android. I think stick with Google with Nexus 5 simply because Pure Android and pure loyalty but I will envious of the Moto Pure design.

yeah I ain't gonna lie bro, the Pure design is definitely enticing, and even though aesthetics aren't high on the list, the whole MotoMaker thing is a great selling point.

I was messing around on there, and almost clicked buy after designing a 64 GB version, black with charcoal leather (kept bouncing BT that and wood) and red accents.

Hey did they run out of the white and champagne color frame? For some reason I can't selected that option regardless on 32Gb or 64 GB is selected?
