Bought the Note 5, will buy the Pure edition as well. Eventually will sell one of them. The only thing bothering me on the Style is lack of fingerprint sensor. Not sure if I can manage current gen phone without a finger print scanner. Love them.

For me three things come before price in this choice.

1. I prefer Moto UX to TouchWiz
2. I don't like to feed the Samsung/Apple duopoly
3. I want to support Motorola's effort to break free of carrier control.

So, yeah, X Style over Note regardless of price*.

*Within limits. I'd go for the Note if I could save a couple hundred bucks.

Not Moto, but Lenovo doing that. Hopefully Moto regains some autonomy and Lenovo does not screw it up. Moto supply chain though is not exactly a case study of how to run a supply chain. More like, how Not to.
