I had the same problem. After updating to LOLLIPOP my battery last up 16 hours in standby mode. It is necessary to disable Google calendar, and it should not go on normally, only about 60 hours in standby mode may be more

In other phones synchronization takes lots of energy. so with moto x it's might be the case too. my moto at minimum use lasts for three days.
