Hey guys and gals,

Whenever I use hangout, I have a little button that allows me to use all of the emojis. But when I go onto any apps like tapatalk, twitter, etc. I don't have the option to use them. Just wondering if there was a way.

thanks for any help.

If using the stock keyboard, just hold down the return key and they appear.

Ah, here are some pictures to show you what I mean.

In the messaging app, you can see the little smiley face that turns the keyboard into the emoji keyboard. That looks like the second picture. But in any other app like for example, twitter, it doesn't have that option. :(

Thank you! I have also been wondering why they weren't there for Facebook and my email. Glad to see I can still use them. 😊

If you look at the bottom right of the "Enter" key you will see three tiny little dots. Hold that down.... A smiley face will pop up. Release the enter key,,... The Emoji keyboard will pop up 😂

If you do the same thing on the microphone the keyboard settings will pop up.

Doing it on the period "." will pop up a symbols keyboard. Without releasing the period on that one, slide your finger to the symbol you need then release. Saves a trip to the number keyboard to enter symbols. 🙌🎇🙌
