Moto X won't get past the "M World" screen

I just got a Moto X(2013) and whenever I try to power it on, it just shuts off at the Motorola logo screen. I tried the whole Power/Vol Down thing and wiped data but its no use...still does the same thing. Its charged 100% and everything

Did you recently get any system updates? If so, is it possible the phone lost power or was shut down in the middle of the update? That kind of behavior can brick a phone.
