Moto Z Force Droid: NCL25.86-11-4-6 (Low Notification Fix)

Agreed, hate the rising ring volume. There should at least be a toggle for it. Also hate not having a notification volume slider. I actually liked the lower notification level before the fix...now it's too loud relative to the ringer and there's no way to change the ratio.

Was nice to see the update automatically pop up. Even better was the Note that, in addition to the Security patch, the Notifications sound issue was fixed. And, indeed it is louder now...😊

How do you fix the corrupt sd card issue??? this has been a real pain...
You should be able to put the card in a computer and copy the data.
Beyond that I don't know. Mine seemed to "fix" itself, someone else formated, and I suspect one had the partition info corrupted, he didn't go further to confirm.

I copied the data off of mine but my phone and my computer couldn't reformat it . I stuck another sd card in my phone and it's been fine so far.

I installed the fix last night. The notifications are working as they should, except for Yahoo Mail. Notifications for Yahoo Mail are now completely silent.Tried everything, nothing works. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the Yahoo app, nothing.

Same with me. I have tried everything such as reinstall, changing audio file used, the "device fix" solution.
Worthless!

That's not a bug, it's by design. Gives you a chance to answer in crowded environments without bugging everyone else.

I guess it depends on your point of view. As it is it doesn't really give that much of an advantage unless you have your phone on the desk in front of you and you can see the screen. Otherwise if its in your pocket or holster it doesn't save you much.

For those of us who find it useless and annoying, there should be a way to disable it if you wish. Coupled with the way the notification bugs were handled, I'll never buy another moto again.

I would agree this fix has been extremely slow. But at least the phone doesn't explode, or have cell signal issues, or have bootloop issues or still waiting to get Nougat or..

Some people just like to gripe. My granny would say "some folks would ***** if you hung them with a new rope because it scratches their throat".

How much did you sell your phone for?

I bought it on ebay from a seller with a 30 day return policy. So I used for 3 weeks then just returned it.
