I just took advantage of the "Buy One, Second One 50% Off" promotion from Verizon to upgrade from the Turbo 2 for myself, and from the Samsung Galaxy S5 for my daughter in law.
Here's what I immediately noticed compared to the Turbo 2:
1. The screen shows a purer white and is measurably brighter.
2. The reduction in width and thickness makes it more comfortable to hold for extended periods. The small differences in weight (lighter) and length (longer) are not significant.
3. The fingerprint reader is extremely useful, convenient, and accurate.
4. Battery life appears to be slightly better, but I haven't had the phone long enough to confirm.
I do suggest the Verizon glass screen protector which went on bubble-free.
Also, the Tech21 Impact Clear Case for Moto Z Force Droid - Clear is extremely thin and the slightest amount of pressure from your fingers gives you an excellent non-slip grip. I would have preferred a choice of color other than clear.
The old Turbo 2 is now my son's cell phone, meaning we are all a shatter proof family (the wife is very happy with her old flip-phone).
