Moto Z gets crazy battery life

I have the unlocked Moto Z and I bought the Incipio battery mod because I heard the battery life is terrible but I'm getting 18 hours and about 3 SOT which is pretty incredible for a 2600 mah. I also use greenify and shutapp too. It has been updated to Nougat as well.

Are you guys seeing this as well?

It's nice to have the extra Moto mod but I've grown to love this thing even more because I don't need it. Great to have though, no battery anxiety that's for sure

Nice to have good battery life, that's the bane of smart phones, all these amazing displays but puny batteries..

That's not bad, especially for what's considered a rather small battery pack compared to the phone's overall dimensions.

Though I've seen better from equivalent rivals, but they do pack bigger batteries.

The best I've got was 14 hours of total uptime with just over 5 hours of SOT, but the phone was very deep in the danger zone by that time.

Thanks! This is great to hear! I'm trying to decide what to upgrade to from my Moto XPE... I had almost dismissed the Z and decided on the the One + 3T or the LG G6. Might have to rethink again.
