Motorola Droid 2 OS

Is it possible to put the OS thats on the Droid 2 & X onto another phone?

On another subject, a verizon rep mentioned that I could put a LTE sim card in the droid 2 global and it would be LTE capable. Is that true or total BS as usual?

1 is possible, as long as the phone you're trying to put it on has all the hardware unlocked. It's not always an easy task though.

2 is total BS, just like you guessed.
