Motorola Droid MAXX - Google Now refresh button gone

The refresh button is gone in Google Now. It seemed useful if you wanted to get a card back after swiping it gone. It can be undone immediately, but not if you decide later in the day or week or whatever.

You just pull down now and it will refresh.

Google now uses the rubber band effect to update. I'm guessing Apple didn't win their lawsuit for the rubber band Patent.
