Motorola Droid Turbo 2 battery

I currently have the Droid Turbo 2
I am very battery careful! I hate to over charge the battery
My question is:
Does the Droid Turbo 2 battery stop charging once it reaches 100%?
I have seen some articles that our smartphones today when and how to to save battery so I wanted to make sure about the Droid Turbo 2 battery

don't worry the software is designed to stop charging @ 100% and it's the same case with all droids.
