Motorola Droid Turbo: Screenshots & Homescreens

Re: Motorola Droid Turbo : Screenshots & Homescreens

Do the Moto voice commands still work with the TSF shell launcher? I know when you use alternate launchers sometimes functions change or do not work the same.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts on it.

Everything seems to work exactly the same as before I loaded up TSF. At least I haven't noticed any issues, but if I do, I'll be sure to re-post what I find. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks, I was considering this launcher may make the dive now. How do you like it overall.

Thanks, I was considering this launcher may make the dive now. How do you like it overall.

I have used so many Launchers (Nova, Apex, ADW Ex, Lightning, Aviate, Go, Smart, Next, Holo, Themer, Action, Chameleon, and I'm sure there are some I'm forgetting), and they all have things I like about them. But TSF is by far my favorite because it offers the best parts of all of these other launchers in one package. There's no grid to follow, so you can put widgets or apps anywhere you want. The dock can be moved around the screen. The side menu is great. One and two finger gestures can be assigned to do any task. All icon packs are compatible; well, I haven't found any that aren't. It comes with useful widgets like the Memo widget which puts a "Post-It" looking note on the homescreen that I use to remind me of things. Unlimited homescreens, very cool transitions for the homescreens and app drawer, icon customization, and plenty of themes to choose from. And of course, my favorite feature, the ability to drag icons out of the folders by swiping up through the folder.

I know it's a little pricier than the others, but if you contact the devs and tell them you want to try it, they will extend you a 30 day refund guarantee if you decide it's not for you. I can't promise you'll like it as much as I do because everyone is looking for something different out of their launchers, but I do think it's definitely worth trying. And if you do try it and have any questions, just hit me up.

Re: Motorola Droid Turbo : Screenshots & Homescreens

Thank you, I'm in I will purchase it in the morning so I have time to start learning it. How do I PM you or contact you with an alternative method? I haven't done it before and if I have questions about it should probably take it off this forum as it does not pertain specifically to the Droid Turbo.

Click on my name, and then click on the PM button to send me a message.

Re: Motorola Droid Turbo : Screenshots & Homescreens

Still messing with the layouts and still need to find a set of icons I like but here's mine so far.
Using Nova Launcher and Widgetlocker for the lock screen. Other widgets include circle battery widget, SMS Unread Count, and XWidget.

@Rockk001 Does Active Display work with that lockscreen setup? It looks sharp.

Re: Motorola Droid Turbo : Screenshots & Homescreens

It does work but it's kinda an extra step. I have to slide the lock on the active display screen if I wave my hand over. Then I have to slide the lock on the widgetlocker screen. Finally I have to draw the pattern on my security lock screen. It's not too big of a deal but I suppose it can get kind of annoying.

Wow, and I thought just waving my hand over the phone was a lot of work. Fort Knox!

Ha I know! One thing I miss is having a LED on the front for notifications.
