ok so i know this issue has probably been resolved but since i just figured out how to do it i thought id throw a fresh thread out there explaining how to remap the hardkeys on your MOTOROLA DROID X2.
Ok so first your gonns need to be rooted.. obviously.
SO go to PLAY STORE
search for ROOT BROWSER (chainsdd){my personal preference. if you know of a diff app that does the same thing feel free}
scroll down to ''system'' and select it
scroll down to ''usr'' and select it
select ''keylayout''
scroll down to ''tegra-kbc-.kl'' and select it
a box will show up saying "no activity found to open this file"
select "open as.."
select "text file"
select {for root browser } RB Text Editior
you will see:

key(s):
102
139
158
115
211
114
ARE FOR THE PHYSICAL KEYS ONLY
remember that if u assign a key that no two keys can be assigned the same
Also remember to save then reboot
so have fun !!!!!!!!:):D:p:cool:
