Motorola G: Android 4.4 (KitKat) Email Setup

I just bought a new Motorola G (Moto G) from O[SUB]2[/SUB] and I've tried to set up my e-mail account several times, but it doesn't give me access to it. Every time I attempt to log in with my e-mail account details (I use Outlook, with a @live.com address), it simply says the following message: "Couldn't finish: Your username or password is incorrect." I am using a Virgin Media WiFi router, but that shouldn't affect any logging in to my e-mail. I've been trying to log in for about half an hour and I don't know what else to do, as there aren't many questions about this sort of issue. Also, I think that you should know that I AM typing in the correct details, I even tried writing out my password in a text box or something and pasting it into the password input. Please help me fix this issue, I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if it's a bug in the new Android version.
