Motorola pushing small update to 4.5.605. You WILL LOSE root.

Eh already working on sbf'ing now. Updated my backups in Titanium. Hate having to SBF but oh well. And I can just refreeze my bloat with bloat freezer after I restore all my apps in Titanium.

I did the .602 SBF and took the .605 update and my phone is just flying. I don't even use the stock keyboard. Maybe I am wrong but I think my issues started with using the TBH leak. Maybe I did something wrong but whatever it was, the official OTA is great, for me. I used Motorola One Click and it was as easy as Z4.

Also could be that I went with unistalling all the bloat - I mean all. All the Blur .apks and others. Also did clean installs of all the apps.

The problem with 4.5.605 is that will loose tethering as well.
I was able to root .605 with one click method, however no go with tethering.

has anyone noticed gps wont lock on since the update. im on .605 ota rooted with the easy one click. sbf'ed back to .340 updated to .605 and gps/navigation worked fine rerooted and no lock on gps.

hawk600 as far as getting wireless tether back use the wugpacked patch.

Please help. Installed 4.5.605 this morning and now my Droid X has completely stopped working.
Can usually do one thing, i.e. make a single phone call, open an app...etc. Then once that task is completed the phone will freeze completely and I can only regain control by yanking battery.
Anyone?

That sounds really odd, I would SBF and try again. That is the only thing I can see think of.

Raising the same question as CipherMax did: Need root to 4.5.605 so I may run Titanium again (prep to go to another DX) and ONLY have a MAC (Air). Have read all I can find but can't seem to root. Z4 used to work fine. Help greatly appreciated. If I had access to a PC, doing the DOS cmds'd be trivial, but don't have a PC. TIA.

I also only have a Mac and was unable to figure out how to make it work. Lucky for me I could borrow a PC.
