Motorola razr plus 2023 screen issues?

Hi everyone I'm new here to the forums and I'm considering buying a used Motorola razor plus 2023 but I'm concerned about the screen protector and issues I've read about them cracking and damaging the inner display.

Is this common problem on these phones? I'm looking on swappa.com if that matters at all. Also is motivate something that would be a good idea and would I be able to purchase it for a device I didn't purchase new? I don't want to buy one of those and have issues with it either.

Any input from those here who have this device and how long you've had it and if you've had any issues and how those issues were resolved would be really helpful thanks.

I'm not familiar with swappa, but I've had this phone since the day it was released in the U.S. and no problems at all.

THe hinge area of the inner screen protector had a very slight barely there crack after about 8 months of use. ITs actually quite common with fold and flip phones. Hwever NEVER EVER peel it off yourself as it voids your warranty.......send it in for the m anufacturer to replace. You can damage the inner screen.

Hi thank you for the reply. Once it cracks does it need to be replaced to not damage the inner screen eventually no matter what or is it just cosmetic? I'd be buying used so I don't know if the warranty would apply to a non original owner if it doesn't apply then would moto care an option? thank you againn

The screen protector on my razr plus 2023 developed those "cracks". It never damaged the real screen. In fact I peeled it off without an issue. I did get a kit from iFixit that came with original moto screen protector but I couldn't get it to go on properly so I just went without one until I dropped my 2023 and broke the hinge. I now have a razr plus 2024.
