AC Question

I have been using a 128Gb Samsung SD card for a year. Then one day i get an SD card not present error. Ok. Tried reinserting. Nothing.
i have 2 options: press FORGET and then all my data is lost or keep trying reinserting or some other methods to save the data.
As the card has been in some way locked and encripted for this phone, it can only be unlocked by the same i suppose.
Any suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! Did you format it as Internal Storage? If so, then you're probably out of luck, I'm afraid. Formatting as Internal Storage encrypts the card, so you can't read it on another device like your computer. This is one of the major drawbacks of Adoptable Storage, because SD card reliability is not great, and if the card fails, you lose all of that data.

so ... i have same problem with an x play ... i have been searh many ways to fix this problem ... without any succes ... i have been tried at least 3 ( or maeby 4 - high speed sdcards, adata, samsung, kingston, kingmax ) with same error message ( sdcard damaged ) ... until few days ago ... when i see that " Wipe cache partition " command i and use it. Big surprise ... after while i wipe that cache partition sdcard works fine ... i just will see until then, but now is all ok, just performed a factory hard reset without problems
