Moto's Bionic is Dead?

I'm glad I didn't wait. Besides the battery, I love my thunderbolt. There never was an official release date for the bionic so we could still see it later this summer. the atrix doesn't seem to have too many issues so maybe it is Verizons LTE network thats causing these delays.

and he too doesnt know WTF is going on. So everyone we are back to square one. One thing is just about certain though. It will not come out in April.

Very interesting. Also good to get some idea of where Panda comes from, so to speak, rather than just being a faceless "insider". I understands the whole concept->development thing though, I think one of the main reasons we haven't heard anymore on the Merge is that its been in the planning phase so long that it would need a hardware upgrade to dual-core or LTE to be relevant at this point. While it would appeal to some, I just don't see it being a big seller for very long. We already have a Desire with LTE, so one without LTE but with a keyboard would only appeal to a certain set of customers unless it offered more substantial hardware.

Anyway, if you read between the lines of this and his older posts, he still seems to suggest that some dual-core LTE device is definitely coming in Q2. Maybe the GS2 LTE is real after-all.

Going by his post, a cancelation is even more of a possibilty now. Cause we have 1 guy in the know who just dont know anymore (BMX), and another guy whos well respected and believed to have inside info for a long time saying he truly believes its been canceled. So now it being canceled is very high.

My hope is that this is hopefully a rumor to help TB sales. I know the Bionic is a different beast from the Atrix, but I was really looking for to it and its dumb terminal. Come on Moto, throw us a bone with what is happening.

Verizon and anyone that complains about the RAM is blind. The 512mb in the Bionic is DDR2 so its comparable to 1024mb normal RAM.

This is stupid. I couldn't read the rest of the thread without responding to this. The ddr2 is probably not even going to be much, if at all faster than the ddr in current phones.

Also lulz at a 13mp camera on a phone. That's going to be some terrible quality photos.
