Move data to SD card +battery issue

Hello.

I got the new SD 256GB card today. Can some one give me steps on moving device(galaxy s8) storage to the SD card please? I got a notification on transferring media. Haven't formatted SD card yet.

Also is there a support article on troubleshooting battery life on s8 galaxy?
