Move photos to gallery

If it's on Google Photos but not on your Gallery, then it's not been downloaded to your device (it's just in the cloud). Just download the pictures you want in your phone from Photos and they should appear on your Gallery then.

Thanks but I don't know how to DOWNLOAD the photos from PHOTOS so they will appear in the GALLERY. I feel like such a dufus.

Haha not a problem! And you're not a dufus! That's why we're here, to help! (Or at least try :P).

So, to download a picture to your phone, you have to go to the Photos app, open the picture you want to download, tap the menu button, and hit the DOWNLOAD option. Done! :) Unfortunately you can't do this in batches (i.e. selecting multiple pictures), you have to download one by one (or download in batches to your computer from the Photos site, and then transfer to your phone via USB... just be careful with this because you run the risk of uploading duplicates to your Photos account since these would effectively count as new files).

For some reason, I don't have the option to DOWNLOAD. The closest choice on my menu is SAVE TO DEVICE. What am I doing wrong. BTW, I'm running 6.01 on the Verizon system

That's odd, I don't see why it wouldn't be the same names since it's a Google app and those are pretty much universal, but yeah, that option should basically do the same: save the picture to your phone's internal memory so that it'll show on your Gallery app.
