moved apps to the sd card and now icons don't show correctly

I moved all of my apps (except the ones I use widgets with) to the SD card and rebooted the device. All of the app icons on the home screens turned into the generic android icons.

The icons show correctly in the app drawer so I replaced the ones on the home screens. After rebooting again the icons are back to the android icon placeholder.

Am I doing something wrong? Is this a Sense UI bug?

This was noted in the issues thread. Not sure why it happens but you can switch skins as a quick fix to restore the icons. When working properly, it only takes a minute or two after rebooting for the icons for apps moved to the sd card to appear so hopefully they will address this in a future fix.

I have the same issue and I'm pretty sure it's mentioned in the problems thread. I'd call this one a "known issue" for now. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

rebooting the phone should also help clear this up. It happens on a lot of devices.
