Movie ? Digital-Copy :-(

Hi all,

Bought a Bluray/DVD/Digital Copy movie. Redeemed and downloaded the .m4v via Itunes and plays on the PC/MAC and says can transfer to i*devices. I transferred the .m4v to my XOOM but won't play :-(
Any ideas or am I left to rip the DVD on my own due to DRM?

I would try and convert the file. I just rip mine. Seems easier than buying the digital copy, but there are varying opinions on that...

I use Kigo. The price was right, and I have converted a lot of movies and TV shows that I bought through iTunes, when I used to have an iPod.

The free "trial" only converts the first minute or so. It works very well for me. Simply drag and drop from iTunes.

I may have to check these programs out myself. I have several digital copies that came with Blu-Rays that I would love to watch on my Xoom. Just wish I didn't have to pay for a converter. Are there any apps that can play protected WMV on Android?

Digital copies are good but they piss me off at the same time. You own it so why can't you put it on whatever, ridiculous.

Starting in September Fox (I believe, or whoever produced the new Thor movie) is going to be offering an Android compatible version in all of their digital downloads. No help for current movies I know but at least they are starting to catch on.
