Movies shortcut?

Maybe I am missing something, but is there not a Movies or Videos shortcut for the Video Player like the Music Player?

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but I didn't see anything when I searched.

When you play a video file a pop up will ask you which player you want to use. The default player is just called "movies". If you install additional video player apps they will be on the pop up list as well.

Gallery app is the default location for movies.

If you want a more advanced app, there are a bunch in the market.

i put a video in the movies folder & there is nothing there.

Yeah I have to use astro to find my transferred videos as well. A downloaded video showed up in the gallery though
