When I go to change my storage location I don't get the option to move from internal storage. Is there some trick to this with marshmallow?

No. It's external. Formatting makes it one and the same as internal correct? This negating the need to move items back and forth?

When it comes to moving your apps to the SD card when it's formatted as internal. What it actually does is move the whole app but if you have an SD card that's not formatted as internal you can only move a portion of the app to the SD card. So if you want to move the whole app and 3 you're a lot of space on your internal you need to format your SD card as internal and you can move the entire app to the SD card. I have about 8 gigs of apps on my SD card but mine is format as internal.

Yeah basically when you format it as internal it becomes adoptable, so in a sense the SD card is now apart of the memory on the phone. There's no need to move apps around because it's one in the same. Atleast that's what I thought?
