Moving media to SD card

I just installed an SD card, but have had my G5 for a couple months. Is there away to move pics/videos on the phone storage to the SD card storage?

I'm sure there is a better way using a PC, but you should be able to do this with the stock file manager. I've moved some files this way after using a 3rd party camera app that can't write to SD card (it's a shame non-native apps can't write to SD on the LG5).

Make sure you set the camera to save to SD for future stuff

Pardon me for throwing in an unrelated question: In the camera app, if you go to Manual mode, and click on settings it brings up a menu. One of the choices looks like a mountain, framed inside a rectangular box, that you can turn On or Off. It's probably obvious, but I can't figure out what it does. Anybody know? Also, is OIS turned on in manual mode (except for wide-angle lens which doesn't have OIS) ?

The mountain is not exclusive to manual mode. That's to change to wide angle

If you click the settings gear icon and scroll right you will OIS or Steady. You toggle that setting for
OIS is for photos and Steady for video. You can Google for a online menu pdf that explains most everything.

That's not the one I'm referring to. I don't know how to share a screenshot to explain what I'm talking about.

Please first go to Manual mode by clicking on the three-dot menu option, and select Manual.

Then press the round gear settings button and it brings up more options. For example one of the choices is the voice operated shutter. But there is also a choice in there that shows a squiggly line (looks kind of like a mountain) framed inside of a rectangle. It can be turned On or Off. I don't know what it does and I can't find it in the user's manual. By the way, in this manual mode I don't see any options about turning on / off OIS. I assume OIS is left on (except for wide angle), but not clue really. And I guess Steady only applies to video (which isn't supported in manual mode unfortunately). I have totally hijacked this thread, I hope OP got enough of an answer to the SD question.

I see what you are referring to but I don't know the answer.

Based on other cameras I have that looks like a landscape setting when taking landscape photos....not sure why that would be in manual mode

Do you have that option in Storage - SD Card - Move Media as on my Motorola.

Not that I can find, no. I am set to store there going forward, but I guess I will have to transfer there via a computer what I have on phone storage before I installed the card.

UPDATE:

When the card is set as default storage on pictures, a separate Camera folder is created in the album library for those files. Simply move files from one folder to the Card Camera folder and that appears to move them from the phone storage to the SD card storage.
