Hi, I've downloaded movies and they are stored on my device but I want to move them to my external.
They download fine and they work but as soon as I move them onto my ext sd card they say 00:00:00.
At the minute im holding down and dragging to a different folder.
Is there a way I can move them to the ext sd card for them to work, and is there a way I can automatically download them to my ext sd card?

Thanks

well, that's weird which application you are using to play that movie ??? What I am getting the video might not be supporting ...... hmmm well do one thing try opening the video by using some other application like VLC or MX or.... !! Can't exactly say what's going on with it. Do one thing try opening some another video and see if the problem is coming with them or it's video specific.

Thanks for replying, I'm using the video player that comes with the phone, but i have tried vlc as well but that doesn't seem to work either?

Am I moving them correctly?

Can you not change where they download too?

Could be a player issue, especially if you have KitKat. Try using the stock player to play a video, perhaps one you make with the device, and copy the video to the sd

I don't have KitKat and I am already using the stock player :S
I've tried 4 different video players and all the same, it's the changing of location that seems to be the problem

Have you tried another sd card?

No I haven't tried another sim, the same type of sim works well in my phone.

However this morning I went into files then changed all the settings to ext sd and downloaded one, and it still went onto the device memory but when I put it over to the ext sd card it still works.

So maybe that's something to do with it? But I am also going to move them via computer as someone else has told me to try that.
