So in about two weeks I will be moving to Verizon, because Sprint has ZERO coverage anywhere or anywhere near where I am moving too. I have my eyes set on a Galaxy Nexus, is there another phone I should be looking at? Or one that will be released very soon I might want to hold out for? (And by soon I mean very soon, have to do the switch soon.) I had the Samsung Galaxy II Epic 4G Touch on Sprint. Thanks in Advance.

I have the nexus, and unlike some was lucky enough to get one that is relatively trouble free.

I truly love my nexus and would not trade it for another phone, however, there are just as many people that feel that way about their Razors and Rezounds.

The best thing you can do is ignore what everyone here tells you to buy, go to Verizon, play with and compare each phone, and buy the one that YOU LIKE BEST. Each phone has it's own strengths
and weaknesses. Do you like to root, is the battery life most important is the camera important etc.

If you're willing to spend the money, I would go for a DROID RAZR MAXX. The battery life on this phone is simply amazing and needed. No 4G phone should be without a huge battery and you should not have to have a big hump in order to have a big battery. I haven't used the Nexus myself, but I hear the battery life is beyond awful. Why have a 4G phone (or a phone at all) if the battery can't keep the phone going?

Battery life is important, but I will not have 4G access anywhere near me, nor will I in the near future probably either. Confirm/deny the battery life Metz65?

My E4GT had amazing batter life too, even without a gigantic lump.

Well I have got this out of my stock battery, this is 3g and wifi.

Right now on stock I'm at 43% after 10 hours 30 minutes 2 hours screen on time.

Are those stats with heavy/moderate/light usage?

I would guess moderate. The 3 hours screen time was about it, that was no movie or music streaming,a few voice calls and light texting.

Droid Razr Maxx with LTE on all day and I get through the day with moderate/heavy usage when I'm home. I get about 14 hours on days I work since I work in an area where it switches between LTE and 3G constantly.
But in an area with good connection, I have gotten 6 hours with Slacker and still had 70% with a few phone calls and maybe 50 or so SMS.

Die in a hole :p

It's between the Galaxy Nexus and the Razr atm for me. The Rarz Maxx is out of my price range atm.

So are you just looking for a phone or specific features? Because you gave a list of phones but not what you're looking for in those phones. I'm sure if you compiled a list of what you need, you would be able to make your own mind up on what you want.

Well I have the E4GT on Sprint atm. So something comparable. I love the Nexus because of pure Google. But I don't want something that has to be plugged into a wall all the time because of bad battery life. My main concern is getting something and then and then 2 weeks later something coming out that is similar but a little more jazzy.

My picks. Nexus if you like the SAMOLED Screen (I dont), Rezound if you like LCD, Razr Maxx if you want incredible battery life.

If you happen to have a Costco membership and/or know someone with one head there. You can get the Razr for $100 w/ a HDMI cable, HD Desktop Dock & External Battery right now.

That's going to be a concern anytime.

Let me ask this. Is a removable battery and SD card important? If it is, the GNex does not have an SD card, and the RAZR does not have a removable battery. Just wanted to throw those out.

Removable battery and sd card are important which is why I am still holding out.

Check out the rezound. Should be getting ics soon, good dev community.

720p screen can go up to a 64g card, wide range of extended batteries available.

Oldest between razzor and nexus and goes toe to toe with them and is their equal.
