MST Question

getting a bit more off topic but those who carry their cards instead of using their phones, are you using wallets that prevents electronic pickpocketing? A local tv station did a story a while back showing how easy it is to walk through a crowd and collect credit card and other personal info, using small handheld scanners, from the chips thats embedded in the cards.

No...if they steal my info I would simply call the card company and get a new card. My cards have never been compromised but my wife's have and the card company locks the old card, waives the charges and sends her a new one overnight.

And this is why I never carry my debit cards with me. Only credit cards. Stealing a credit card is like stealing someone else's money. I'm just going to report it and get my card number changed. Have all the fun you want and hope to not be caught. I'll be good

Guess it depends on the bank. My debit cards are covered just like my credit cards.
