We have have a family plan with 3 LgG2 s and an LGoG we have been getting calls where the voices sound like they are in a tunnel or very muffled. Now it has happened(inconsistently) on all phones(randomly) and has taken place on received and placed calls. Has anyone got a solution or has had the same issue?

Have you spoken to Sprint about it? Does it usually happen in one particular location, like home or work? Or does it occur over a wide range of locations?

Not yet. We live in the Orlando area and it happens all over town. I was wondering if this was an isolated issue either with the LgG2 or Sprint

I have gotten off the phone from Sprint and they have created a ticket and it should be moved up to the next level. (we all know what that means) they should call us in the next few days.

Sprint has us keeping track of every time that it happens so that they can get data packets from each phone call that fails. we are turning over to them times and dates of each phone call so that they can keep track of it that way but nothing extra is being done to satisfy the customer

I'm also starting to experience this same issue. Just started about a week ago.

I have been experiencing this issue for a week. I have called Sprint to report the issue but it was no help.

I have 2 tickets out. One on my wife's number and one on mine.... They have called me Multiple times doing call samples, and one time the call quality on a call to Sprint was horrible! They heard the muffled call quality and now want me to meet with "engineers" to do a live call sample and a "bridges" set up. Idk.. Stay stuned

I saw on another board that some were having luck with turning off the feature to be able to say 'OK Google' from any screen to fix this. This was on Sprint's G2 and started recently.

So I turned off my "ok Google" and had some luck, until this morning. The call quality issues are still there :(

I called Sprint again after not being able to get the recipient to be able to hear me when placing or answering a phone call. I had to use another phone to call Sprint. My phone has been unusable for voice calls for 2 weeks now. The technical support representative had me reprogram a new MSID number into my phone. When I did my phone rebooted and I did make a phone call successfully. I hope that it works from now on.

My previous MSID number was my phone number and they had me program in a random number as my MSID. I am not sure if the MSID number being different than my phone number will affect anything. Does anyone else have a MSID number that differs from their phone number?

How are others dealing with the microphone issue on their G2's?

The representative had me dial ##501016#
It will then pop up a window and you can click view. It will show the MDN and MSID numbers.

After the Sprint representative had me change the MSID # I was unable to make a phone call tonight.

Sprint was unhelpful in resolving the issue tonight. I asked to talk to the CEO but was not able to. I'm getting pretty frustrated with Sprint.
