Hello,
Is there way to have this option on Note 10.1 2014?
I found some posts about OTA update, but that's a year old... That OTA is here, but, option not.
I'm on stock.
Thanks

Settings -> General -> Users There's a button in the upper right corner to add a user (either regular or restricted). At least on a stock 2014 with wifi only.

Thanks mate. Will check it out. Can't see how I missed it though.

Can't find it. It must be me, but, there's no USERS setting. Here are screenshots.

My device is stock, not rooted, on Kit Kat 4.4.2 - I find the user selection in Settings \ Device Sectio \ last entry is "Users" - when I click on that I see the little "add user" icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

Hmmmn, I went back and read you first post and it seems that you did not perform the Over the Air update to Kit Kat 4.4.2 - although it's hard to tell that from what you have written. If you haven't upgraded your tablet operating system then your settings screens will not be the same as mine and you should disregard what I posted before. LoneWolf545 spoke of Settings/General - my settings screen don't have a general section - perhaps he is still on Jelly Bean and if he is he (or anyone else whose device is still on Jelly Bean) might post a couple of screen shots here to help you.

If I am wrong and you have upgraded to Kit Kat 4.4.2 then your settings screens will be the same as my device.

I'm on 4.4.2
I tried update, but I'm updated.
This might be weirdest thing that I have seen on devices so far...

Sorry, my screen shot didn't work earlier - I've now inserted the correct one, and I will place it here too.

Hi, that's strange, the screenshots you post are from version 4.3 not the 4.4.2. Can you post a screenshot of the general > about device page?

No problem. You can't force the update and it's not possible to predict when will be available in your country. Consider that they started to upate to 4.4.2 about 6 months ago and in my country (greece) is available only from this week.

You can connect it to samsung kies to check for an update. When I updated it was through Samsung Kies since the OTA service said that there were no updates avaliable.

Not possible :( cause my PC is on Ubuntu... I'll just wait for OTA I guess...

Well, based on my experience, the kies story is not always true. When the update wasn't available via OTA it wasn't available also via kies.
btw the 4.4.2 version is not so much more than the 4.3. Apart the multi user i have only notice that the keyboard is more responsive. I had read that there is a gain also for the battery duration but i can't confirm it. The other things are pretty much the same.

Kitkat is also faster because it does not hog as much cpu and ram.
