Multiple e-mail profiles - can it be done

Kind of like the title says I have two GMail accounts and would like to monitor both of them from my phone. I do not see how to setup a second 'profile' on the GMail application. I guess I could get K9 and set the second account up on it but it would be nicer to be able to switch between accounts from the GMail app.

Is this even remotely possible? Or am I just missing something?

Add your second account in Settings->Accounts and Sync. Pretty straight forward.

Worked just fine except now I am getting the dreaded "process.com.android.gapps has stopped working". I cleaned out my Accounts and Sync and recreated them but I had not had this problem for the two weeks I had my phone until I put the second account in the sync. I will continue to watch it I have restricted the sync to the minimum I require and hopefully that will help the process.

Just an interesting development...

I have never seen that happen to mine. I have 4 gmail accounts for work on mine and have not had any trouble. I have had those accounts on my OG EVO too and no problems there either
