Multiple phone resets

I need help with my Android 6 on a Hisense u962. I've had it for less than 6 months, but every month I need to reset it to factory default, because it totally runs out of space. One of the main problems I see is the system application called phone and messaging storage which tends to go Beyond 3 gigabytes. how can I solve that?

Well, have you tried forating the SD card as part of the phone memory itself (merger of memory/SDcard can't work on others devices unless formatted) and moved apps to SD card?
