Hello all.

One minor thing makes me very frustrated about the GMail application is that when I reply to an e-mail, it adds an extra "RE:".

Is there any way possible to change this? I can't stand it.

Thanks in advance,

David

I think it does that if you're replying to a reply. So if you go on long enough, it'll be RE: RE: RE: RE: RE:, etc.

I don't think there is a way to change that. I hope that's what you were asking.

If you're just replying to an email, it definitely shouldn't add two RE:'s.

Yes that is exactly it. Sorry I wasn't clear.

Does ANYONE know how to fix this?

I don't think it's behaving any differently than any other email application that I've used. If you Reply to a Reply, that will show as RE: RE:, which is exactly what it represents. This certainly isn't exclusive to gmail.

I actually thought gmail was the only service that DOESN'T keep adding the RE because its threaded. I don't recall it adding the re when I reply, it just shows one re in the title. Maybe I'm missing something...
