Hi all, my company has just built a great App for Scavenger Hunts and I need to buy a whack of Android Tablets at a really good price. I'm looking for 60 of them. Here are the specs I generally am looking for:

JellyBean
Dual Camera 5mp or better rear
3G or LTE
10.1" or 7" screen (prefer 10.1)
2GB Ram
8-16GB ROM - expandable if possible
Dual core or better processor

Any suggestions on models, where to buy? Are any of the noname Chinese manufacturers worth looking into?

We work with a ton of high end corporate clients so if any of you work for an Android tablet manufacturer and want exposure to corporate teams I'm all ears...

Any help would be appreciated as I'm a reformed BlackBerry guy and kinda new to the platform.

60 identical units? I'd recommend the Nexus line. They're the best value of the premium tablets and I don't trust the no-names, but maybe someone else has had a good experience with them and can recommend specific ones. The 2013 Nexus 7 meets or exceeds the requirements, at about $349 per unit retail.

I bought a Nexus 7 (2013) 16GB to play with and I like it. The app needs to be optimized for 4.3 though which is OK. $349 is steep. I called Google Play today and they told me anything over 50 devices should be put through the manufacturer so this was at the end of the day today so I'll need to give them a shout tomorrow.

What about the lesser known brands like Acheros (not sure that's it) or the one that starts with a P from the UK. LTE is a must I think as 3G seems to make the app crawl a bit. LTE backwards to HSPA+ is a must.

Im testing on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and it's sometimes bogged down.

Thoughts?

And yes I'd like them to be identical I think. That way I can learn the ins and outs of one device only. I know that makes it a craps shoot too. What if there's a hardware issue that comes up? All of my devices would be affected.

I would also recommend the 32GB Nexus 7 LTE. You will get pure Android and updates as soon as they come out. If you buy from another manufacturer you will have to wait for updates, if you get them at all. If you are concerned with app compatibility you don't want to be sitting on 60 tablets with old O/Ss in them still. Hopefully, you can get a better prices with a volume order.
