Multiwindow: Limited to few apps?

There are limited apps available on the left pull out bar. Is it now possible to do a split screen with any apps? If it is, how do you add them to the pull out screen?

Not any app, just those that are compatible with Multiwindow. There's a thread over in the Note 2 subforum with a list of Multiwindow compatible third party apps: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...9-multi-window-compatible-3rd-party-apps.html. You drag them over from the window that opens up when you hit Edit on the bottom of the Multiwindow bar.

Thanks for the link and list, nice list, but as I read through it I noticed its kind of lackluster in what is there. Still a starting point I guess, though I am annoyed Samsung is taking so long to get support or is it developers who are not supporting it?

Hi S4 owners!

Keep checking back on the list mentioned above (& in my signature), more apps are being added all the time. If you come across any that aren't on the list, please post them in that thread & I'll add them.

As far as the OP's question - If you root, you can add any app to the Multi Window panel. Otherwise, it's (primarily) up to each developer to make their apps compatible.

Hi..... I don't know if your phone is rooted but if your phone is not rooted multi window only works with some apps.
