Music Distortion on GN?

This happens to me all the time when using the speakers with BeyondPod. I get a clicking sound. It sounds to me like what happens to digital audio when the output buffer isn't kept full, causing a tiny gaps in the output waveform that result in click sounds. It happens a soon as I turn off the screen and stops as soon as I turn on the screen. Doesn't happen when I stream through my A2DP bluetooth headphones.

I believe it's a software problem. The phone goes into a low power state when the screen is off and this low power state slows down the CPU enough that it doesn't feed the audio output buffers reliably enough. I expect that an update will solve this.

I had a similar problem, but not just with music, on my first GNex. I exchanged it and the new one doesn't have this problem. However, the new one has screeching during calls occasionally.

It appears the last Music update has fixed this issue for me.

It only half-way fixed it for me. Still happens on a few .flac files.
