Music files info mismatched

[AC Question]

I just got a new Galaxy S8 and uploaded all my music files. Unfortunately for some reason the info on all the songs are mismatched. For example, the song and artist info are mismatched. It was alright when I had the Galaxy s7

Welcome to Android Central! How did you copy the music files to the phone -- via USB connection? Have you tried other music apps to see if the mismatches appear regardless of the app?

I was using regular USB connection, dragging and dropping music files on my computer

Have you used an ID3 tag editor to confirm that the tag info is correct? Do other music apps still show the info to be mixed up?
