Music is Skipping

[AC Question]

I did the Lollipop update on my Verizon LG G3 and now when I play my music through Bluetooth, the songs started to skip. I read that I should do a factory reset, so I backed up all my stuff, did the reset and the music STILL skips when I play it through Bluetooth. What can I do to fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! Is the music stored on Internal Storage or the SD card? I assume the music doesn't skip if it's not playing through Bluetooth, correct?

I believe most of it is stored through Internal. The music only skips if it is played through Bluetooth. If I play it out loud, its fine. I did not have this issue until I did the lollipop update

It might be an issue with the update. Does it occur in Safe Mode, which can tell you if the problem is due to a 3rd party app? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-11934

If it still occurs, you might have to try a factory reset (after backing up or syncing your data).

I tried the factory reset and it still continues to skip. It just seems to be an issue with Bluetooth. I can play music just fine off my phone. Tried clearing the data from my car where I use the Bluetooth but that didn't help either

I have the same exact issue. I have done the factory reset - music still skipping when playing via Bluetooth. This issue began when I upgraded to Android version 5.0.1. HELP!!!!.
