Music/Media Mutes after Incorrect Lockscreen - LG Optimus L9

Hi everybody, I am a new user of the LG Optimus L9 for T-Mobile. I've had it for about a week now, and I'm fairly pleased with it. However, a major issue I have, is that sometimes, if I mess up my lock pattern more than 3 times in a row, then it mutes all my music. Is there a way to disable this? Also, sometimes I'll just be using my phone, and then my headphones will get disconnected, and upon plugging them back in, the media will be muted and it won't play no matter if it's on silent, vibrate, etc, won't play any audio neither on the phone nore headpones, and it won't let me unmute it unless I restart it. Is there anyway to fix these two problems? Please and thank you.
