Got a micro SD card today and am ready to copy all my music and pics stored on my computer to the SD card. Anything I need to know? Naming folders so apps can find them? Do I need to format a new card?

I re-format it to ExFat. So I can transfer 4GB+ files.

As for naming...

android > iTunes

No problems recognizing it.

You lost me...I should put my music in a folder called android?

I think he meant Android is greater than iPhone.

You can name the folder whatever you want (mine is Music FWIW). Whichever music player app you use will either auto locate it, or prompt you to navigate to it. And yes, format the card prior to copying the files. If you have files larger than 4GB, then format it ExFat. If you don't think you'll have that large of files, you can format it Fat32
