Music Pauses Randomly

I thought it was a car/Bluetooth connection problem, but I just noticed it happens on headphones too. The music player just stops/pauses randomly for no reason. Software issue or perhaps hardware issue (it thinks headphones removed maybe)...? Any ideas?

Happens less if I start the music without headphones then plug them in. No one has encountered this problem?

It's not the Music App. It happens using Play Music too. Either system software or hardware. Ugh.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I've been experiencing this problem for several months without any luck finding a cause or a solution.

Also having the same issue. It happens with both Play Music and Pocket Casts.

I have seen this several times in my Ford vehicles. For whatever reason it goes away after a couple of songs. Sometimes if I fast forward a couple of times it goes away too.

I found that if I stop music and turn off the sound system in the car, it happens less than when I stop somewhere and then get back in the car... The re-sync is not very smooth otherwise.

I have no other fixes for this...

Hey.. I think I found a solution!!!

I was having this same issue.... Installed Nova Launcher and it resolved the issue. I didn't install the launcher to fix the issue but it resolved by mistake. Anyway, just install a different launcher and see if it resolves the issue for you..

I've been having this same problem on the htc one M9 for months. I haven't tried a new launcher yet but you really shouldn't need to do that anyway.

I use PowerAmp as well. I've never had this problem.

Using power saver modes?? Sometimes it thinks that the phone has been idle for a extended period of time and it may shut off data even if streaming music. Check power settings.... It help me resolve Issue.
