Music pausing with notifications...

This isn't really a question but a validation thread...has anyone else noticed that the S5 running 4.4.2 (I'm running on poor old AT&T) has issues with the music pausing for notifications? With the last update to the S4 that I had everything was fine for me i.e. the music just faded for a few seconds. If anyone has the newer updates, does it fix this issue? It seems like when I hooked my phone up to my dock 10 minutes ago to listen to music, everyone suddenly wanted to have a conversation. Heard more of my notification sound than my music! I know there are apps to fix it, just wanted to know if it went away with the newer KitKat (or Lollipop, if anyone remotely has it.) It's driving me guano.

The way I fix ithis is by turning off the notification volume while listening to music. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Yeah I tried that. The thing of it is how can they make one phone do it but the rest dont? You'd think it would have carried over.
