Music player and play lists

Hi Puzzlegal, if the music was transferred in folders you could delete all the music folders instead of deleting songs one by one.

If you have ES File Explorer or a similar file manager you can find where the music was put in your phone's "hard drive".

Ok this might help you find which folder those duplicate songs are in. In Rocket Player go to a duplicate song and play it...Go to settings bar and choose the Edit Tag option...At the to of the Tag Editor is the location folder where that song is stored on your phone...Then do the same thing on the songs' duplicate....Check a few of those and hopefully all of the dups are in an easily deletable folder.

Thanks, my husband loaded some Linux utlities and found most of the music in two big directories, so i deleted the stuff in the Motorola one, and left the stuff in the iSyncr one. That cleared up about 6gb on my chip, which shoud hold me for the foreseeable future.

It seems you have your solution, but I wanted to throw this one out there since no one else did: Spotify. It keeps track of your playlist and you can pin music to device. I like the app interface too...better then the desktop really in a lot of ways. It's quick and the file sizes seem pretty small. But it probably requires a subscription (I'm in a 60 day preview) so that may not be worth it to some people. But for me it is.
