Music Player for Epic, Batter Life

I was listening to my music for a whole bus ride with the phone asleep. After an hour, I looked at spare parts and it says my phone was running the whole time, not in sleep. This expends much unnecessary battery, as all I want is the music to play, not the whole phone to stand by.

Is there a music player that functions while the phone sleeps? What is the best music player to use regardless.

Btw, this keyboard is basically useless. It skips buttons pretty much every sentence I type. What is the point? Is Samsung going to do anything about it!?!?!?

My god, I just noticed the title. That is a result of the keyboard. I checked the whole post but not the title. See what I mean? I am having trouble just accepting this faulty hardware.

If your keyboard isn't responding to your key presses I would exchange it for one with a working keyboard.

From what I've read, every epic's keyboard is faulty.I am still in my 30 day period so can I just exchange it with no penalty?

My keyboard doesn't always work, but it seems like whenever I take the phone into Best Buy, it never acts up. So the man can't replace it. I'm still inside of my thirty days but what am I supposed to do? I have their insurance so I feel like just breaking the phone. Do you think they will replace it if I cracked the screen? Oh and btw, writing this entry, I've had to fix over 20 errors that the keyboard didn't type. That's always awesome.

go in and tell them that you have intermittent issues and they can swap you or you can return it and go to radioshack

my keyboard works perfect.
my battery life was the worst with 3hrs tops.
but after the update Im pretty happy with everything.
if i was you i'd return it to get a new one with a working keyboard.

Disclaimer: I'm typing using the bad keyboard.

Hopefully somebody an answer m befor I go and return. Do I need to bring the box/chrger when I trade in? I'd love to score a nw charger out of this as well.

I am worried that the new phone will have the same keyboard probles. I see some people who went to sprint store and saw that every phone has the problem. As well, what if my sprint store's whole batch has the problem.

Also, now I am goin to lose the screen protector I bought???

Are those of you who claim to have a prfectly working keyboard sure your phone has not exhbibited the key-skiping problem? It seems to be when you type fas like on a blackberry. It really makes the keyboard obsolete

my keyboard didnt miss a step, i can hit alalalalalal a whole bunch with no skips. also take all your stuff in, screen protector is gone yes. might be able to weasel em out of it since its not your fault

Never had an issue with my keyboard skipping keys... my issue is that my fingers sometimes hit the wrong keys when trying to press something but that's just me fat-fingering...
