Music Player Pausing

When I first start to play my mp3's, the first two songs I play (regardless of what they are) will pause momentarily throughout the songs. It is worse on the first song. After the first two, I have not noticed it happening at all.

I am wondering if the phone is taking a very long time refreshing my library causing the pause?? I have well over a thousand songs loaded on it.

I thought it was just me. I have to in fact go in to each song and press play again. Luckily it doesn't start over from the beginning. I think its a software issue; maybe not a device problem

I don't have any music stored on my droid (I only stream music) so TBH I have no basis for this..but could it be device lag?

I took my sd card out of my phone and ran error checking through Windows on it and it is working properly now. It would not do it while the card was in the phone.

If it happens often, bring it into a Verizon store and show them. They should give you a replacement Droid on the spot.

I have over 200 songs stored on my Droid and never had that happen.

I had a bad SD card and experienced the same issues. I was actually able to get file transfer to hang when trying to copy files off the card back to my PC, took it into Verizon, they re-created it and replaced my card. Haven't had a problem since.

After calling Verizon (no help), they suggested I reset the phone or call Moto.. I backed up my SMS' and reset the phone..it automatically reinstalled all my old apps, but I did have to sign in to each of the accounts again to get them to work (some I have not done so). I have used the music player on and off for 3 days now and have had no pause issues.
