I am looking for a decent music player. Wants
* Show the files embedded images in both album and artist screen not it's own
* Images show as grid
* Decent equilizer
* Large artist image on playing screen
* Sleep timer
* Easy scan for updated 3rd party id3 changes

I have tried playerpro and pulsar and images are not the embedded ones and over half don't even show any image. Black player ex shows mostly my images, but I can't update changed files. Phonograph works pretty good but no sleep timer. Any other suggestions?
Thanks

As far as what you want, unless someone is using an app with exactly the features you want, and pops in here to tell you, you;ll just have to keep trying them, one by one, until you find the one you like.

I don't know of all the stipulations you need, but I find Poweramp to be the best music player for me. I think it is 3.99 for a lifetime subscription, and I don't like to pay if I can get something for free. However it works much better than all the others I have tried, has a decent(actually more than decent) equalizer, and just works effortlessly for me. Alas, it will not stream music, and I am having a major problem with streaming with my Samsung S-9. Gonna be looking for a new phone pretty soon that works for me. The S-9 is certainly NOT the one. Poweramp is very good though(IMO).

I'll second Poweramp for locally store music.

Precisely. My only must is to handle lossless files. I don't give a stuff about album art, I just want to listen to music not stare at something.

Thanks. I am trying out Poweramp and with the yaps free skin to increase image size it pretty much does everything. It is a nice app. I purchased it a few years ago, so I hope I can remember the login info to retrieve the order code. Thanks again.
