Music sync

How do I get my music from iTunes onto my Inspire? I tried it once and there was no way to pick the songs that I wanted to put on there. It seemed very random to me. And is there a way to get album art on here too?

I use an app called isyncr I highly recommend it. It will move.itunes playlists over and let the music app read them on android. They also have a WiFi add on.

Isyncr and IsyncrWIFI are great. Will sync Itunes data to your Inspire.

Doubletwist does a pretty good job. Winamp music player portends to do it also, but I haven't used it.

I use doubletwist with air sync. Sucks for iphoto but works for music transfer.

I use Windows 7 . I tried double twist, it was the slowest piece of crap I ever used. I was very disappointed. 3 hours to sync 6 gigs of music is crazy!!

Keep in mind that you can only sync MP3 or non-DRM protected music to a Droid. If most of your music was purchased from iTunes in before 2011 you will probably not have much success.

You can try to use the 'create MP3 version' option in itunes or use one of the many available progs on the web to strip DRM.

Like many users said, Doubletwist was horrible even paid version. I have found that Salling Media Sync is about as good as it gets (Mac only).

Wifi Sync Apps/Method reviews

I'm on window's 7 and totally new to the android world (switched from jailbroken iphone), but I've tried Double Twist, Winamp, Music WithMe, and iSyncr...

I like Double Twist Player's interface on my phone, but it was slow as hell to sync via wifi.

Winamp I've always found to be a resource hog so I wasn't a fan of that whole setup.

Music WithMe is absolute crap, had to link my facebook account with it and it would randomly start downloading music (I'm on the 2Gb a month plan with At&t and I'm already hitting 1.5Gb a month as is...) and eat up my data.

iSyncr is great, but I'm not a fan of the original Android Music player as I listen to podcasts and they end up just getting thrown in with my regular music...

Anyone out there come up with a solution that fixes most all of these issues?

iTunes DRM protection - iTunes give you an option to pay the extra 30 cents per song (to bring it to $1.29, like all their songs are now) to remove the DRM protection.

I use Doubletwist just to sync, by usb. I don't even have the player installed on my phone, just the desktop app. I use PowerAmp for my player.

you dont have to use the android music player with isyncr, thats what i love about it! you can use any player you want, i've used the stock android, poweramp, winamp, and now the sense music player with the playlists that isyncr creates.

I guess I should have explained a little further, I use iSyncr to sync, but Doubletwist to play on my phone, problem being that my podcast's aren't put into the podcast section. They're thrown in with my music... makes 'shuffle all songs' a little annoying... anyone know of a solution to that or am I just s.o.l.?

I use Salling Media Sync. There is a free and a paid version, but it works great. It even will sync podcasts from iTunes, as well as your playlists. Totally worth the $15.
