Hello all! I have two issues but first I need to give you some background. Im deployed to Iraq right now so I don't have access to the network. All I have is WIFI. As far as I can tell I'm he only person over here with an X. I mainly use my phone for internet access and to play music while Im working out at the gym.
First of all Id like to be able to Skype my family but I can't seem to get it to work. My phone came with a skype app but when u try to set up an acct it gives an error that says can't access the network. Well no sh!t! There isn't one! There seems to be a lot of people skyping on their fruit phones and such but nobody with an X. Surely there's a way around this problem.
The other problem Im having is that I can't load any new music. I work out every day. Have to to keep my body looking like the Air Force thinks it should. Well listening to the same music over and over is drivin me nuts. When I first loaded the music that I have, I did it by plugging the mini SD card into a socket which plugs into the USB on my laptop where my music is. It worked fine the first time but ever since, the computer doesn't acts like it doesn't recognize the card. It shows up under my computer but it wont allow me to do anything. I would love to get this figured out but am also looking for alternative ways to load music such as a cord, an app or somehow using WIFI. Any sugjestions are welcome as I would like to know all of my options. The Mini SD is all Ive been able to get to work thus far. It seems the charging cord is just for charging. The computer doesn't recognize that at all. My wife is sending me a mini USB cord. Not sure what the capabilities of that are.
I like my X mainly because of the size but I get a lot of deal from the fruit phone crowd cuz their phones are so simple. I just response with simple phones for simple people. LOL
