Hi

When I'm wanting to listen to music louder than Samsung deem Safe I recieve a pop up asking me to override this setting.

Problem is i turn my phone Off overnight so after a reboot I'm back at having to override the setting.

Now I've not really dived into Developer Options.

I'm wondering if there is a section in there that will allow me to override this setting ?

Unfortunately I'm not aware of any way, without rooting, to keep the volume limit from reappearing after each reboot.

Why do you shut down overnight though? I reboot maybe once or twice a month, and my phone works fine. Rebooting is inconvenient in several ways, and shutting down overnight keeps you from receiving emergency calls or alerts.

I shut down overnight as I have no reason to keep it powered up.

My family ring my landline or their mums phone if we are needed.

There is the option to disable it in the developers options. I have mine disabled.

What option is it please Carrie ?

Which section in Developer Options ?

Under NETWORKING.
The scroll bar was in the middle of the page.
Like Gary posted, above, I do see it once in a while and it very well could be after a reboot. But it's much less annoying.

I am also using the Tasker profiles, with the AUTO TOOLS add on app.

I've disabled absolute volume in developer options and it doesn't work, used to before the last update. Seems that the US and European phones can still disable it but not in the UK versions.

Disable absolute volume (toggled on or off) does not make any difference here in Seattle.
