Moto G from ACF

some mentions:

-- boat browser mini (if you want to avoid unusable minimal, or unusable crowded and bloated, has flash, javascript and plenty of settings)
-- chomp sms (if you want traditional or classic style messaging, is fast, very customisable)
-- k-9 mail (loads of options, can bypass android sync settings, fast, battery friendly)
-- google keep (for all your notes and lists, but sync to google account is only form of backup, fast, easy)
-- notifier widget for facebook (if you dont want a facebook app, but want notifications)
-- timely (if you need an alternative alam, its sickly and weird but gets the job done, and the default alam tone is surprisngly effective)

Oh yes! +1 to Swiftkey and Nova launcher if you do not like the Moto default launcher.

chromecast works on moto g?

After researching the Moto G it does NOT look like it will work.

http://allaboutmotog.com/tag/chromecast/\

So I take back the Chromecast app.

chromecast should work. actaully the link you gave also says chromecast should work on moto g. from what i remember chromecast doesnt actually use the phones wifi, it has its own wifi. however only certain apps work, like youtube netflix etc. i think in order to 'mirror' like miracast where you can see the desktop, you have to do something else which i do not know yet but as i have xposed frameworkr installed ill see if it works once i do manage to buy a chromecast...or miracast.

Ahh I see! Understood. I will give it a shot this weekend too. The girlfriend has the Moto G and I have the M7 still.
